Volo is a village located in the North Tongu District in the Volta Region of Ghana. It is about 50 miles from the capital Accra. Volo is known for the TUGBEDZO- ZA FESTIVAL celebrated by the chiefs and the good people in the Volo traditional area because a bomb sent from Denmark never exploded. This festival also commemorates the end of the exodus of the people of Volo from Togo. The festival is usually celebrated in the month of April.
On August 6, 2023 Raymond Caffee was enstooled as Torgbe Volo Yingor 1st, the first Economic Development Chief In Volo. He is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA.
His duties consist of creating revenue for Volo to improve everyday living. He is also responsible for deciding what will be built in Volo. Nothing can be built in Volo without his approval.
We will be creating revenue with the resources that are available. First thing he is going to do is use land that is not being used to grow hemp. The weather in Ghana will allow us to have two harvests a year. We already have a company that we will be growing for in 2024.
The next thing we will be focusing on is the fact they are located on the Volta River. The neighboring towns already have riverfront restaurants and hotels. In 2024 Volo will be building their first resort called the Royal Volo Resort. In 2025 we will be sponsoring trips to Ghana for investors. Our investment opportunities will be focused around Hemp Farming and Tourism.
Our campaign is called “Rebuild Volo” and with a donation you can receive a small tub of Black Soap or Shea Butter from Ghana.
