I am super excited to share an exciting journey that combines culture, fashion, and sustainability. On Friday, April 18th, 2025, during the Tugbedzo-Za Festival in Volo, Volta Region, Ghana, I will be showcasing my sustainable fashion designs in the 2nd Annual Volo Fashion and Art Show. This event is a celebration of heritage, creativity, and the powerful connection between luxury, legacy, and sustainability.

As a Fashion Designer that focuses on sustainable fashion I present “African-American Blues” Just as the musical “Blues” take bad life situations and turn them into music, I combine 100% cotton African Print Material with American Blue Jean Denim in this upcycled skirt and corresponding wrap that can be worn as a top or headwrap. I have added photos of model Jay Jay Q wearing “African American Blues” photographed in an urban area of Norfolk, VA. As African Americans we find the beauty in our blues.
